- Hot Water: the home has a standard 50 Gallon electric water heater at a factory temperature. This provides hot water for a couple of back to back showers, dishes, etc. Hot water may be limited if taking long showers, or multiple people attempting them at the same time or in a short time span.
- Thermostats The Downstairs thermostat is located beside the living room TV. Upstairs in the hallway near the bathroom.
temperature range is set between 67 – 78. To change, click the temperature, then select either cold or hot buttons, and hit + or – to change. - WiFi Wi-Fi information can be found on the posters above the kitchen island and at the top of the stairs.
- Upstairs Lights Primary can lights are on a dimmer and can be adjusted up/down. Bar light switch is behind bar. Both fans have lights as well, with dimmer buttons on their remotes.
- Grilling We provide an outdoor grilling area on the back patio. It features a large charcoal grill. We provide firestarters, an ash bucket, a starter barrel, and grilling utensils. You will need to purchase your own charcoal. See grilling tips below.
- TV Streaming This home features four TVs. Each TV has instructions on how to cast your device to watch your own streaming services. Feel free to login to apps on TVs if you have them.
- Trash Trash bags can be thrown into the blue trash bin by the road. Trash pickup is on Thursday.
- Bugs We do treat this home for pests frequently, but it is still a lakeside property, which naturally brings bugs and pests around. We recommend keeping doors closed, and not removing screens from windows. Bug spray is provided under the kitchen sink.
- Lanai (Screened in Patio) If food or non-water drinks are spilled, please clean up as best as possible to prevent ants from gathering.
- Open Windows and Doors Our windows have screens, allowing them to be open and bug-free. However, this will offset what the HVAC system is providing to the home, leading to poor performance. We recommend leaving doors and windows closed during the summer and winter seasons.
