House Rules

  • No smoking inside home
  • Quiet Hours Outside of Home: 10pm – 7am .
  • No Fireworks. (Several neighbors in our community are veterans and suffer from PTSD.)
  • No parties or groups larger than the home allowance of 8.
  • Only flush toilet paper in the toilets. (Sensitive septic system)
  • PARKING: Our driveway fits three cars. Please only park on the driveway and not on other people’s property.
  • Dock: No diving from the dock. Children should wear life jackets. The lake area is “swim at your own risk”. The dock is wood and gets hot in the summer. To prevent hot feet and splinters, we strongly recommend water shoes.
  • Pets: A pet under 40 lbs. is allowed but requires a pet fee. Please keep pets on a leash at all times. Pick up after them when possible. Alert us if your dog pees indoors. No Dogs in the Lanai. Do not walk dog on other people’s property.
  • Wet Items: Please keep outdoor equipment such as life jackets, fishing rods, or lounge chairs outside of the home.
  • Furniture: Keep all furniture and rugs in place throughout the home.
  • The upstairs fireplace is non-operational. Please do not attempt to use it.
  • Any boats or jetskis on the premises are not to be used.
  • A guest will be charged a fee if their pet is not checked in prior to stay.
  • -BUNK BED SAFETY WARNINGS: There are certain risks associated with using a bunk bed and bunk bed ladder, including the possibility of severe injury or death. Guests agree that use is at your own risk. The property owner assumes no responsibility for personal loss, injury, or illness of any kind which may result from the use of the bunk bed and ladder. The owners are not liable for any accidents occurring. Parents with children should be especially cautioned regarding ladder use and agree to accept all responsibility for minors. While not an exhaustive list of precautions, guests agree to follow these industry standards: 1) Occupants of top bunk must be 6 years or older; 2) Use of top bunk is limited to a maximum 150 lb weight per person; 3) No jumping or other horseplay on or around the bed; 4) Always use the ladder for entering and leaving the upper bunk.
